These are great snacks, appetizers and beautiful side dishes.
On a curl of fresh butter crunch lettuce:
- Place a generous pinch of daikon, alfalfa or red clover sprouts.
- Sprinkle with two or three of your favorite bean or lentil sprouts.
- Garnish with a few sunflower sprouts.
- Top with one of the following: A squeeze of lemon, lime, a sprinkle of tamari or a drizzle of your favorite dressing.
- S & P to taste.
Optional Additions:
- Fresh jalapeño pepper/fine dice
- Fresh tart apple/fine dice
- Grated raw beet, goat cheese and toasted walnuts
- Ripe avocado/small dice
- Toasted pumpkin seeds or pine nuts
- Toasted walnuts, pecans or slivered almonds
- Goat cheese, bleu cheese or feta cheese
